Here at The Cozy Acre we wish to give you the best shopping experience possible and in doing so we like to be as transparent as possible.  

Please read before purchasing!

Shopping Cart

Items are not reserved in your cart. Your order is complete once you checkout and receive an order confirmation email. Please be aware that if you are trying to purchase multiple varieties of tubers some may sell out before you are able to checkout.

We understand how frustrating that can be, we've been apart of the Dahlia wars for years now!

Happiness Guarantee 

Your support to our small farm means the world to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase. We guarantee your Dahlia tubers to arrive in excellent condition with at least one visible eye. Please inspect your tubers immediately upon arrival.  If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at thecozyacre@yahoo.com within 7 days of receiving your order. We will always try to make things right based off of the circumstances. We are unable to offer any refunds after 7 days of receiving your order.

Please understand that we can't be responsible for damage due to poor growing conditions, pests, weather or anything beyond our control.

All dahlia tubers sold have been grown here on our farm.  

Dahlia Tuber Shipping

A flat fee of $15 will be charged on all orders to cover the cost of materials and shipping. I'll combine shipping on multiple orders and doing it this way allows me to skip the "shipping matrix" that shipping Dahlia tubers can entail. Orders will be combined for an addtional $3 labor fee per order.  Please email thecozyacre@yahoo.com and include all of your order numbers.

If you are local and wish to pickup instead I will reimburse your shipping fees after purchase!

All orders will be shipped in April when the danger of frost has passed in your region.

If you are local, email us at thecozyacre@yahoo.com and you can pick up your tubers as soon as you would like.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Once an order has been placed we are unable to add or subtract items.

Please place an additional order if there are additional items you would like to purchase.

Once an order is placed we are unable to cancel that order. 

Dahlia Tuber Substitutions

Since we are a small farm we can not offer substitutions for stock loss.

If we experience any tuber loss after your purchase you will be notified via email and refunded properly. 

Dahlia Tuber Virus Policy

Throughout the growing season, we hard cull anything that may be showing signs of Virus.

We grow 100% of the tubers we sell and we do not purchase any Imports!

We practice organic pest control and release beneficial insects several times throughout the season.

During harvesting and digging we sanitize our tools  between each and every plant, while this is very time consuming, it is import to us to prevent the spread of disease. 

All that being said, virus is still common among Dahlias and some plants will appear completely healthy for years without showing any signs.

By purchasing tubers, you are accepting the fact that sometimes viruses can still emerge.

Dahlias showing signs of virus will not be refunded.
